All types of plastic contain oils or "plasticizers". Usually, these oils move freely in the structure of the material. Over time, they migrate to the surface where they can be washed away/abraded or move to the bottom of the material, negatively affecting the bonding with the surface.

The oils contained in PlasDECK® do not migrate but remain "trapped" permanently in its structure. This means that PlasDECK® does not dry out, does not crack, does not crumble over time, and PlasDECK® retains its excellent adhesion. This is a unique and proprietary process, protected by US patents (Nos. 7,578,251 and 7,616,791), which is not found in other synthetic products on the market.
